Dimitrios Bougiouklis is a graduate of Biology at Aristotelion Universtiy of Thessaloniki, GREECE.  At the beginning of his career he worked from 1989 to 2002 in the company BECKMANN COULTER as an application specialist in diagnostic analysis technology with flow cytometry.

Later and after 2003 he worked at BECTON DICKINSON as a specialist in flow cytometry applications. He also trained in fluorescence microscopy in Luton, England in 1990. In addition, he was trained in Belgium in leukemia and lymphoma protocols.

Today, he is a member of the Hellenic and European Federation of Flow Cytometry, and scientific director at the Konstantinion Research Center for Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology, where he creates innovative diagnostic protocols for autoimmune diseases and cancer.
